Routine Maintenance

• Vacuum frequently. It helps remove dry soil particles that can dull fibers and cause matting.
• Place glides under heavy furniture to combat crushing. Rotate furniture to give carpet a rest.
• Avoid long hours of direct sunlight on carpet. Close blinds periodically. Select a lighter colored carpet in sun-drenched rooms to minimize fading.
• Change traffic patterns. Rotate furniture so people alter their path through the room.

Spot Treatment

When it comes to spills, timing is everything. While no carpet is fully stainproof, our technology helps keep the liquid on the fiber’s surface so you can absorb it. The sooner you can get the liquid off the fiber’s surface, the less time it has to penetrate and leave a stain. Remember, blot the spot, don’t rub or scrub.

Professional Cleaning

We recommend professional carpet cleaning at least every 12 months (lighter shades may require more), even if you clean them yourself in between. Remember, to maintain your warranty, your carpets must be cleaned every 18 months via hot water extraction.
